Located on the Cristina Canal on the northwestern shore of Lake Argentino, Estancia Cristina is in the heart of "Los Glaciares National Park." After a boat ride you will remember forever, enjoy a horseback ride to the Pearson Lagoon Outpost, with incredible views and an unrivaled experience.
Visiting Estancia Cristina is a good opportunity to get to know the Upsala Glacier, and the history of the pioneers of these so distant and spectacular lands.
The activity begins with a navigation that departs at 9:00 AM from Puerto Cristina, in Punta Bandera. Navigate between icebergs and imposing landscapes to finally enter the Cristina Canal to the disembarkation point at the Estancia.
Upon disembarking at the Estancia, the Horseback Riding guide will be waiting for you to go to the stable, to assign the horse and the necessary equipment. Right there you will receive the directions for driving the animal and information about the route. Then the ride will begin through the Valley area heading north, leaving the Estancia helmet behind. The tour will take you through the bottom of the Caterina River Valley and you will be able to enjoy the immensity of a virgin glacial landscape.
During the activity, they will stop for lunch at the Pearson Lagoon Post: there you can enjoy the field lunch provided by the estancia or bring your own food. Once the lunch is over, you will return to the town of La Estancia, where you will take a brief historical tour, visiting the Museum of Costumbrista.
For the return to Punta Bandera, they will be waiting for you at the port, at 5:00 p.m.
During the navigation, the passenger must ask the tour guide for his National Parks TICKET in order to obtain the discount if he enters the National Park again the next day.
