What will you do?

This is a purely contemplative excursion, aimed at enjoying the tranquility of the Fuegian landscape and its southern mountain range. The tour departs by bus from Ushuaia, where you will discover the beauty of two charming lakes surrounded by forests, nestled in deep valleys shaped by glaciers.

The first stop will be in the Carbajal Valley, where we will interpret the landscape and you'll have the opportunity to take excellent photographs.

In our next stop, we will visit the Harwen winter center, home to the national snow sculpture festival. Here you will also find the southernmost craft gin distillery in the world. We will learn about the production process of this spirit that originated in the Middle Ages and have the chance to enjoy a tasting. Next to the distillery, there is a small museum showcasing the history of national motorcycles from the 1950s, featuring iconic brands like Puma, Tehuelche, and Siambretta, as well as the experiences of pioneers who undertook long journeys connecting the south and north of the continent.

Reaching the highest point for crossing the Andes in Tierra del Fuego, Argentina, we will arrive at Paso Garibaldi (the only place in the country where crossing the Andes does not involve crossing a border, as we remain within the same national territory). This is a panoramic viewpoint offering spectacular views of Lake Escondido from its lookout.

The next place we will visit is Lake Fagnano, one of the largest lakes in Argentina. Alongside this lake is the historic estancia La Carmen, where we will enjoy views of the lake and take a moderate walk around the estancia.

On our way back to Ushuaia, we will stop at one of the winter centers, where we will have time to enjoy a typical local dish: Fuegian lamb on a spit (lunch not included). After dessert, there will be a moment to relax before resuming the last 20 km towards Ushuaia, arriving around 4 PM.
