Glaciares Gourmet is a full-day experience aboard the María Turquesa Cruise that covers some places in this Patagonian landscape, navigating it with the highest comfort and with a gourmet gastronomy specially designed for a memorable experience.
The journey begins at the private port La Soledad, located 47 kilometers from El Calafate. From there, at 9:00 AM we will set sail for the North Channel of Lake Argentino. The icebergs that some know how to triple our boat in size and volume, will decorate our passage through the Upsala Channel, from where we can see the Upsala Glacier (the third largest glacier of the Southern Patagonian Ice) about 15 km away.
Then, we go to the Spegazzini Channel to see several hanging glaciers such as Seco, Heim Sur, Peinetta and then disembark at Puesto de Las Vacas. There we will take a 30-minute walk through a Patagonian Andean forest and its beaches. Upon returning to the boat we will have enough time to have lunch (you can bring your own food or choose the option "with food") while we continue our way until we reach the front of the highest glacier in the National Park: the Spegazzini Glacier (135 meters above the lake level / 440 ft above the lake level). Here we will take advantage of the time to take pictures and contemplate in silence so much natural beauty.
At this point we go to our final destination: the Perito Moreno Glacier, where you can (with prior hiring of the service) disembark on the catwalks to culminate a day full of magic and surprises, enjoying 1 hour and a half to explore them free.
To conclude our day, after having left the Perito Moreno Glacier and those who descended there, after having delighted ourselves with these wonders of nature, we will return to the private port La soledad at 05:00 PM.
