We take you to the Fuegian Southern Railway. 7 kilometers is the total route of the legend that did not let itself die "The train of the prisoners". Originally the route was from the prison in the center of the city of Ushuaia.

Only the authorized prisoners to leave the prison were those rewarded for their good behavior to perform forced labor. They used to go to look for firewood to heat the prison of the incipient city of Ushuaia that grew next to it. Originally it was transported with shackles on its legs and back to back in precarious freight cars. At the present time, the departure is from the “End of the World” station, by means of a replica of the "Train of the prisoners". The visitors travel the same route that decades ago the convicts made to supply the town with firewood. Nowadays the wagons are heated, modern and glazed so as not to lose the best view of the route. The train resumed its activities in 1994 for purely tourism purposes.

Forests of hundreds of years, rivers, peat bogs, and the reconstruction of an indigenous settlement parade at the sight of the passenger during the trip. The ride also makes a stop at the Macarena waterfall, and in its last 3 kilometers, you enter the National Park.

The train is an additional activity of the visit to the Tierra del Fuego National Park. At the end, the passengers return to the tour with their respective vehicles and guides, touring the entire park and then returning to Ushuaia.
